Founded in 2017, in a small garage in Texas, we set out to fix what was broken with solar.
It started with just our family, tired of seeing folks struggle with unreliable power, complicated setups, and long waits for the right equipment. So we built RC City US to make honest solar products and real support easier for Texas homes and businesses.

Solar feels confusing and expensive.
Many Texans deal with unreliable power during storms, complicated tech, long waits for the right panels, and messy installations. A lot of people just end up paying high bills or giving up on solar.

We saw that gap and knew it could be better.
Clean energy should be simple for families and businesses, not a big hassle. As a family-owned company, we set out to make premium solar and battery storage reachable for everyday Texans.

I was in a situation in which I was searching for new Tesla Powerwall 2s - but they were nearly impossible to find anywhere in the US (Tesla stopped manufacturing them over a year ago). The RCCity team came up with several options for me and was very patient as I worked through the design details with my installer. When I finally purchased the units they arrived in excellent shape, had clearly been maintained per Tesla SOPs, and are now installed and operating well.
